My continue story from My 4 days break. This is part 4 of 5.
I stayed in the old city in Jodhpur. If I had to describe the old city of Jodhpur in one word, it would be: Chaos! Narrow alleys where a gazillion Tuk-tuks (auto rickshaws), motorcycles, bicycles, cows, dogs and people were fighting with each other for space. It was also rather dirty…
However, it kept me smiling, almost laughing, in disbelief – there were just too much to complain about … it was utter chaos : )

I took this photo from inside a Tuk Tuk. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo which can show how chaotic the real situation was. This photo was taken early in the morning when I checked out from the hotel.
I had booked a nice middle budget guest house. It was located quite close to Jodhpur Palace/Fort and it was surprisingly quiet. The name was Singhvi Haveli.
This is Singhvi guesthouse, my room is to the left.

I liked Singhvi. The guesthouse was clean. The room was very simple, but colorful, and the most important thing: clean and functional. And I got a roof-top room with excellent views of the Jodhpur Fort! The food was not so impressive, but as I said in my first posting of this journey: if all food fails, French fries is my savior!
I went to Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort the next day, around 10 am or so. Unbelievably big! Here are some photos for you to enjoy..
This was the entrance from the backside of the Fort (walking distance from the guesthouse)
For some reasons, I love doors! I have plenty pictures of them.. :)
Thanks for reading the post. Next one will be my last post of this trip… please check it out for some cool photos! See you there!
